Our story started like all modern love stories do — on an app! After matching on Hinge and exchanging a few messages, Jennifer lost interest and ghosted Jeremy. One late summer evening, bored and bedridden with a cold, she revisited old conversations and was surprised she’d left such a handsome guy on read. She sent him her number with a quick "text me!" Jeremy, out in Huntington Beach with friends, replied right away (after one too many drinks), texting, "Hello, this is Jeremy from Hong." They texted for a few weeks, bonding over a shared love of music, then decided to meet. Jeremy preferred a traditional dinner date, but Jennifer invited him to meet her and her law school friends before their weekly Thursday bar review. He drove through LA traffic from Orange County to Westwood and arrived, nervous, at the corner outside her apartment. From that first meeting, they both knew they'd found the one. Over the next eight years we graduated from college and law school, moved cities, navigated a global pandemic, found an apartment together, adopted a dog, and weathered everything in between. Now we’re very excited to celebrate our love with the people we hold dear as we begin this next chapter and get married.
